came off my 82 XS400. Solid, but could use a bit of paint where the tail bag sat. Postage extra. . Also have a nice Iron Rider tail bag that fits nicely on it.
m selling that fits perfectly on it.

I see you have the 82 maxim. i think it is nearly identical to the 83. did you have to customize your bike to fit the rack?

Very cool. That leads me to think I can simply bolt it onto the bike. I saw the photos of your setup and my bike is identical to your 82. I see that the rack bolts to the turn signals and that back bar or sissy bar whatever it is called.
