XS650 replacement headlight

Hey guys will a xs650 headlight bucket fit on a xs400? Or is it to big? I just installed one my xs400 and it looks a little big and the signals are drooping a little bit. Check the picture out any feedback or ways to fix it would be helpful!

On my bike (an 81), the signal stems go straight into the headlight bucket. That may be why yours are drooping, they're partially supported by the bucket assembly and the extra bits of plastic and rubber flashing around them.

The xs650 uses a larger bucket and light than the 400. I would replace the rubber grommets to fix your droop. The 80-82 bikes have different mounts than pre-80 bikes. Make sure you get the correct ones. The ones on your bike now is a pre-80 style.

Which grommets, The ones that our attached to the signals? Would you have a part number of link to the 80-82 ones? I want to make sure I get the right ones

The setup you have it the pic above looks like a pre-80 model.
