I was hoping to avoid spokes

Hey guys. Xs400sg looking to put some knobbies on it. Have 18 up front and 16 on back. Bought 18 rear wheel off a 750 (for the wheel since had a hard time finding 16 knobbies) but doesn't work. Which wheel can I use?

Afternoon, Changed brake pads, caliper sticking (another issue).. And chain suddenly loose. Literally just tightened not a month ago and noticed/heard within an hour span of pad change. Question: why would chain be so loose, and what would the slider/guide even look like originally? Thanks in...

By any chance have some decent looking carb/valve seats? Recently ordered a carb rebuild kit with needles but no seat. One of them is bent inward and generally look old. Thanks in advance!! Photos are the kit purchased and my actual seats. Any info or help would be great! 18812

So... sat it on the battery charger for a bit today... and viola!! Rode it around the block, and it was wonderful. Definitely has a small oil leak up front, but I am so happy to know she goes. I knew it had to run at some point and those horrible things couldn't exactly be the issue...

Yep. It's intimidating at first, but once you get your hands dirty it seems pretty easy to figure out. Definitely happy I didn't go with a newer one. Paid off, not too scared to drop it, and a labor of love.

So... $800 and she's all mine. Crank case was full of fuel and battery dead. Charged battery and now on the hunt for oil. Stupid question, manual says 20w40 SE, why can't I find this anywhere? What does everyone else use?
