I have 1978 XS400. The front brake caliper was rusted stuck. I was able to free it up, rebuild and replace the piston. It still leaks. I am looking for another, but am interested in after market ideas.

You can mount what ever caliper you want. Youll just have to fabricate a bracket to mount it. If you wanna get wild, you can change out the whole front end to a newer Aprilia 125cc bike that isnt sold in the USA. Easiest option would be to find a good caliper in the classifieds here or check EBay.

I used an honda rs125rr disk with blue spot caliper. had to make a bracket to fit
