Carb rebuild kit

Does anyone have any experience with this rebuild kit from Poland? It doesn't really say what it includes.

Unless something is physically broken or boogered up, there's usually no reason to replace parts. Clean them well.

What about the gaskets? Won't they be perished?

The fuel bowl gaskets- yes.

If it's just the float needle, seat and gasket, maybe it's worth it. However, to me, if your float needle and seat are good that's like paying $30 for 2 gaskets. $5 and some patience and you can make some with paper left over for other gaskets. Also, just 2 fuel bowl gaskets can be had for $7 or $8.

I will try a search for just the gaskets. Then I will see how badly I screw up my carbs when I rebuild them!

The 80-82 sohc xs400 uses the same gaskets as the 80-84 xs650's which are more available.

These look like a decent price. Hopefully no O-rings or rubber bits are perished.
