Does anybody know if it is possible to reverse the cylinder head,so the exhaust ports are at the rear,on the 400 DOHC??......and if so,how straight-forward (or not) ,it is to do??.......

My first thought is why? Second thought is that the bolts won't fit the barrels. Third thought is getting oil to the head will be a problem.
Unless you are a talented machinist, no it can't be done. And even if it could, it would over heat.

It was a bit of a drunken idea I had,borne out of frustration at not being able to get my exhaust headers in due to the twin downtubes being smack bang in the way!!!LOL
I have since got some Polylock S/S flexible exhaust tubing,and managed to squeeze them past the downtubes...phew!!!!
I am no machinist,so probably just as well haha....
