Wanted - Flat seat for 1980 XS400

Currently I have one of the stepped seats and want to go to a more flat seat. I included a pic of what style I want (its on an SR500, but close enough). Let me know if someone can help.

You will have to make one or buy an aftermarket seat. The 80-82 xs400 never came with a "flat" seat. The early xs400's ( 77-78 2-E) had a flatter seat but your frame mounts are different than what those styles took and would have find the right brackets and do a bunch of mods to get them to work. Also they had a shorter tank on them so you would have a gap.

Thanks for the info. I was just looking for something to throw on the bike so I can ride while I do my tracker build. I already got a tracker seat from Grandprixspeedworks.com
As the weather gets nicer I get itchy to ride!

If you are looking for a seat that will fit without issues. Your only options are the stock 80-82 sohc xs400's seats.
