Having some trouble here, the book says 32mm +-1mm, problem is my float wont go that low. Is the book correct?

I know you measure from the gasket seat to the top of float.

Am I missing something?

26mm +-1mm for brass floats. Measure both sides of the float to make sure they are equal.
