Help bike just broke down :(

Hello guys okay I've putt about 110 miles on the bike since I got it on the road two days ago bike drove awesome and loving it, took it for a ride again today got about 10 miles away the motor just turned off solid no studded nothing just died, just got back home from walking it :/ bike has half tank gas voltage is still good on the battery and I'm getting spark still, anyone have some pointers I could start looking for before I start to go nuts lol,help please thank you, and the carbs just got serviced and jetted so there solid

Clean the carbs again.

Petcock doesn't have off position, am I going to have to clean carbs every 100 miles lol? Cause that be crazy

If you have a stock vacuum petcock set to the on position, when the bike is not running gas should not flow from it. That is your off for it. Are you running a in-line fuel filter from the tank to the carbs? If not do it Most likely your carbs are the issue if the bike has spark and proper compression.

Yeah no I'm not running inline fuel filter, if timing jumped a tooth would that also make the die like that?

I doubt that is what happened. Spray some starting fluid in the carbs and see if it fires. If it does you will know what to do Fully clean carbs and make sure the petcock is working.

Okay I'll try that, crazy how the carbs will shut a motor off like it did u think it would stutter off

If there's one thing I've learned from this site: clean your carbs, then, clean your carbs.

If a large enough price of dirt was in there, it would starve it for gas.

Yeah guess I'll look for that, I just got them serviced from a shop and rejetted few days ago

Like I said if a shot of starting fluid in the carbs will make it run then it's a plugged carb. Not running a filter to them could plug them in a hurry.

Did you check your oil level? Mine did the same thing two days ago. Gas flooded the crankcase and it died.

Yeah the oil level seems fine and what its been, I'm going to try some starting fluid see what happens !

150psi right and 135 left and yes plenty of spark just zaped my shelf wanted to double check lol

Would a ignition control module do this its like someone turned hit the kill switch on me

Almost feel like it skipped a tooth in timing or something grrr
