I want to raise my tank so it would be level with ground. I have some ideas but I thought that maybe some of you guys have already done it and have found some simpler ways how to do it.

Original mount is a bit lower and it makes it look weird in my opinion.

If you will change the seat, you just have to lift rear tank mounting point. Use flat washers, add them continuosly until you reach level with the ground , and then replace with one thick spacer, that you fabricate, or buy somewhere. If you want to leave everything stock, I dont think it will be possible to lift just the tank. And also i dont think that will look good.

Part of that is going to be to drain fuel towards the fuel tap.

No big deal if you keep the tank topped up.

With the angle of the attachment point I don't think washers will work.
A short piece of aluminum bar with a hole to fit the frame mounting point and a threaded hole higher up to accept the bolt on the tank should do it. Maybe a slight bend in the bar.

AS BBS360 wrote because of the angle the washers won't work. I think that the easiest way for me is to cut it off and then weld it back just a bit higher.
