i've been on to other projects lately, tore into my cb900 to find the fault. cam chain tensioner disintigrated, pieces scored one piston and bore. parts on the way, on to plan b. 75 cb 360 with 6600 miles needing head bolted up and all work envolved. got the head torqued and cam in. while timing it we found the engine had a tight spot in the revolution (really tight). couldn't figure out the issue so out came the engine for teardown. pieces of cam chain tensioner crammed to the lower timing sprocket making the chain jump. i have kawi's yamaha's and 2 honda's. i hate the honda's so far. at least the 360 had no other damage.
