Ideas on some different lighting

Hi Gang,

New member, first bike.....

I've got an 82 Heritage Special and I'm wanting to change up the lighting on this bike...nothing gawdy or extreme, just better looking and more reliable....

I'd like to go the LED route, but I'm open to suggestions. Id like to change ALL the lighting (brake, turn signals, and headlamp), BUT also, I like the idea of ditching the current tach/speed/indicator display and go for just a speedometer w/ the built in indicators.

Of course it's a champagne taste on a beer budget type thing....so here we go.....

I've included some pictures of my bike for a starting/reference point.....

i did the spedo with lights. works great i went through dime city( they were the cheapest at the time and great customer support) haven't upgraded headlight yet and still working on what to due about turn signals. if you go led do your research here it seems that there may be just a touch more to it than swapping bulbs ( esp on the turn signals). but you did the right thing by posting im sure you will have several other replies befor to long. good luck and keep us up to date
