Hello everyone,

I, like many others, have been here awhile drifting around, learning little bits here and there but now its time to come out of the woodwork.

I bought an imported frame, swing arm, wheels, forks and so on with a box of new bearing and a v5 slip all for £25 from just down the road. I then got a xs250 as a spares bike.

All I have to do now is decide what route I want to take the bike down,.

Theirs a lot of inspiration out there so we'll have to wait and see. I've attached a few photos of it to show it put together loosely.

welcome to the forum, thanks for the intro.
so your going the 250 route or 400 (better and lighter engine)

Hi Drewpy
I'll go for a 400 set up when I can pick one up cheap enough, the 250 was just for parts, like the tank, switches, springs and stand.

Went to the autojumble in Durham today and was given a seat/ rear fender combo from an unknown motocross bike, so will offer it up when I get the chance and see how it looks.
