It happened again, snapped kickstart lever. Compatibility?

Well trying to start her up yesterday the kickstart lever snapped off at the pivot point. I wasn't jumping on it or anything, just 30 year old stressed metal giving up the ghost. These things happen.

I was wondering if any of you guys know if the xs650 kickstart lever will fit onto the 400's splined shaft?

online guys are selling ones compatible with the xs400 and sr500; a common 650 mod is to replace the kickstart lever with the sr500 one for the additional clearance. I figure it should probably fit but am looking for confirmaiton

Gosh, you must kick like a mule. Bummer about the lever; I didn't realize they were that breakable.
