Need help finding a gas cap seal 1980 xs 400

Having trouble locating a gas cap seal (o-ring) for a 1980 xs 400. Anyone know of a website selling these?

mikesxs.com - they sell parts for the XS650 but the gasket will fit.

Hmusket > Ya, I bought a generic O-ring from NAPA a few months back, like the fellow from Ace Hardware did. Problem is after enough time the fuel saturates and expands the o-ring. I've tried thermostat gasket rings as well to no avail.

Thanks for the info, no sense with dinking around with cheap fixes that you have to replace every couple months.

Hello I have purchase a rubber gas seal from Mikexs Part #20-0036. I have a 1980 Yamaha XS400SG. This rubber seal looks as though its to small for my gas cap. Is this the right rubber gas seal for my bike?
