i just picked up this 81 to build for my brothers first bike.probally gonna clean her up and paint her for now.starts first kick.gonna need carbs cleaned and clutch cable and tires and minimal work.picked her up for 100 bucks with a little over 12,000 miles on her.was also having a tire installed on my vulcan and the mechanic said he has a 77 with 6300 miles on it that he is parting out.might look into that too.

thanks.i forgot i also had to buy the guy who hooked me up with the deal with 3 cigars.i think my 79's boots are worse then the 81.lol

it is kinda weird because my first bike was my 79,so i figured he'd be fine on it.he allready has dirt bike expiriance and he is also good on the back of a bike so i thought this would be perfect.
