So tonight I got my new seat pan cut out and shaped seems kind of weak on the rear slope I used 16 gauge steel so I will have to reinforce it somehow.

Bit I also came across an issue with my fuel.. when I put her away for winter it had about a 1/4 tank of gas now 2 months later it has none just gone.

Sounds like the petcock is not shutting off like it should, then float valves. Or someone took it. Check the crank case to see if it went there.

Is our carbs separate or are they together just wondering if I can swap the right to left and so on. IL get a couple rebuild kits and see where I get

This is what she looks like with my freshly cut seat pan it's only 16 gauge and seems too flexy but maybe I can do a brace in the back

The internals are the same but the bodies are left and right.

What do you guys think about me putting a "grab bar" like the following pic to strengthen the back of the seat pan

Well just ordered a new triple tree bracket assembly hopefully it fixes it bad part I have never taken apart or put a triple tree back in. Guessing game I guess lol

Put the fender back on. This will align the forks. If they are still off, loosen the trees and spin the tubes. If they turn with a wobble they are bent.

Ah definitely don't have a front fender anymore cut it up for the rear. And IL try spinning the tube when I get off work

Got it straight just had the clamp tweaked. I found a leak on the shifter side on the inside of that case any idea on a quick cheap fix like permatex. And what it may be leaking

Idk why it put two of the same pic but okay. Also I have the seat wrapped and put on and a temporary side mount plate and tail light
