o-rings

So after much work I've finally figured out why the previous owner had an impossible time jetting correctly.


The float valve seat assembly o-ring is shot and i suspect this is why jetting one side was impossible. So not wanting to spend almost $100 just for an o-ring.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Try an auto supply shop or an industrial supply.Get accurate measurements and it's easier to buy the right ones. P.S. You can get the float valve set for fairly cheap,and maybe the o-ring from mikesx. lha

I agree on replacing the float valve.

But while you're at it.... buy this o-ring kit, and replace every o-ring in the carbs. There are surely others that are worn.

what a great find!!! Thanks a ton! Actuallt the only warn o-ring was just the valve seat one. The rest were in near perfect condition, so I'm not sure if the guy that had the bike before me replaced a lot of them or not.
