Rephasing the xs400

Like the XS650's do. One piston up the other down.

I would like to try out their cam too. Didnt know if anyone had

You'd have to do a lot to get it to work properly. Not only will you have to do all the stuff you mentioned (custom cam, possibly custom crank) but you also have to consider the timing mechanism. The spark plugs fire at a 90 deg offset from each other now and you will have to alter the mechanism to fire at 180 deg. If your bike uses points (older model) its as easy as adding and removing material from the crank. If yours is after the switch over you may need to mess with the timing mechanism above the cylinder head (which I have no idea how to do).
Of course, if you can get that bad boy to work, you'll open up a whole lot of doors that nobody else has been able to open before such as using a single carburetor successfully.
Also note, just me being picky, that the 400s have the pistons offset at 180 degrees (one up, one down) and the 650 pistons are always in the same orientation with respect to each other.
