I had never really paid much attention to bobbers , although I have ridden motorcycles in the past . Most of my experience was on trail bikes and dual-purpose bikes. About a year ago I was driving through town , minding my own business, and saw one of the little Kicker bobbers for sale. I stopped and looked at it and sat on it. I was hooked , but I knew I wanted something bigger. I began watching the local trader papers for a Japanese bike to bob.I decided that I really liked XS650s , and actually went to look at 2 or 3. None came with a title and all were in poor , non running shape. In NC , getting a title is a real problem unless you get a good clear title up front.I looked all winter with no luck.I'm pleased with the xs400 I finally found . I have seen some good looking 400 bobbers on here, and other sites.:D

My inspiration was the Kenny Roberts Flattrackers he rode, cool as fu*k!

I take styling cues from all sorts of bikes and even brit iron!
