what parts fit??

Ok as most of you know i just picked up a 82 xs400 for my new project. my main question right now is, im looking through mikesxs.net to get an idea of all the little things floating in my brain right now, but im wondering what parts can be used on (82 xs400) that say xs650??

like these for instance?

these are just a few items ive seen and wondered about. mainly what parts are transferable? and also with what modifications will 650 rear sets work?

I'm pretty sure I can guess based on the first link, but are you running a DOHC or SOHC 82?

Also, compatibility can be an issue. Mike's does do both XS400 and XS650 parts, though, and a phone call would probably clear up any questions...

Those Xs Performance carbs are of poor quality. Poor fit of slides to bodies, they bind up. Mismatched slides. Cables break.
If you want to learn more get on the xs650.com site and research them.
With enough time and money they can be made to work.
I have not heard to many good things about the shocks he sells.
