OK so when I took the wheels off the bike to take to Cyclecity fer new tires,I stuck my finger in the holes and turned them back and forth. The front turned smooth and effortlessly on both sides. However the back had a little gritty, bindy, chattery feel but just enough to make me wonder if they are bad. The sproket side is worse than the disc side on the back wheel.
How do I know if the bearings are ok to run or not? The finger test tells me they are dry-ish? or bad maybe??
Can you re-grease sealed bearings?
I would just replace and be done with it but first,Yamaha wants $70.00 fer both right and left rear bearing plus seals out the door and second, I cant be 100% sure the cheaper aftermarket sites bearings will fit!
Anybody that has been here before, please advise!!
Where is everybody buying there wheel bearings?
