hey all, recently acquired an unfinished xs250 which I am turning straight around due to time constraints as I’m building a xs650.
Only thing I have done is pick up new battery to ensure a strong spark.
Compression tested at 150psi in both cylinders, good spark but won’t start (not even looked at the carbs so probably a fuel issue.
Unfinished project, tank half finished, no seat etc. Everything else is with it though, brakes need fitting, new HEL brake lines, new ht leads, coils and plugs.
I have been given a garage full of spares, pretty much another engine and lots of spares including rear springs and headed pipes.
Fitted with electronic ignition which seems to be working well. Don’t know a massive amount about the bike but I have the full V5 in prev owners name.
Any questions please ask, not breaking as a need the space in the garage.
