Rescued my 79 xs400f from a friends backyard bushes a few months ago and I have been slowly pulling it apart when I had time. It is in real bad shape but I am ready to start on building my own cafe racer
It has been parked since the mid 80's and been left outside for years
First step is to clean up some work space in the garage and replace the 60watt bulbs with some florescent lights from home depot
Now at it's new home
Now time to get to work...
Both master cylinders are garbage and most of the bar controls are broken or seized and something is shorting in the electrical with the new battery in..
Stripped down and waiting for parts
