Back over a year ago, I was in a small accident on my bike (no injury, 0% fault) which caused a slight crack to procure on the left side of the front fender (ahead of the forks) that I believe to possibly be getting worse here over time.
Thus, just in case, I was curious if anyone actually had...
Even so...that one looks pretty clean compared to his full set.
Is the second mounting screw still in there on the inside of the casing (second picture), or is that lost so only one remains, as pictured?
windingroads: Yours will be worst case scenario for me; mine are silver rather than black and if I can avoid mismatching the colors, I will.
Petew: $20 + shipping, eh? That's mighty enticing. Is it silver rather than this other gentleman's black set? Also, any pictures?
Thanks a lot guys.
My tach internal wind spring snapped on me today (tach stuck at 5k rpm).
Thus, I'm in the market for a new tachometer (if possible, mine's specifically an '81).
Many thanks.
Chris,
I received those today.
Many many thanks again, hopefully this will (should) work for me. Now to wait a couple more days for the rest of the items I need from ronayers, and (hopefully) I'm good to go.
Thanks again to all who viewed.

Let me double check these with my mechanic (as this is my second attempt to find the correct ones), but I believe you are correct.
If so, I will definitely take you up on that offer. Many thanks, Chris. I should be PMing you later today.
Hello everyone,
Long time no see/post.
I have been away in a career for a bit, and thankfully haven't run into troubles with my bike (80/81 xs400sg) nor really needed to break into the carbs...until now.
It turns out, one of my adjustable needles snapped because the prior owner had replaced...
You don't by chance have a front fender from either bike, do you?
I'm looking for a front fender to replace my '81's, so more likely if you have one from your '81? But I'm fairly certain any year that had a front bake caliper will work (someone please correct me if I'm wrong?).
Anyway...
