    I have a 1982 xs400 heritage, the serial number starts with 14W. I am assuming it's the same as a 14V, but sold in Canada. If this is correct, according to the info I have found here, that makes it an sj. I have downloaded the Yamaha service manual from here, but I can't find an sj model in it...

    Cdn bobber build.

    Am starting to build a bobber. Picked up a xs400 off a guy for $800 cdn. Unfortunately he modified the frame and here you need an inspection. Am gonna buy a done frame and have it inspected then modify it lol. Will be doing all the fabrication and work myself. If I can't do it it's not going on...
