would it be possible to trim off the two side back bones and just have the single main backbone? would it need gussets? so mounting different tanks will be easier? i have seen a few builds do it but they were all going to a hard tail. i would keep it a soft tail.

i dont have a repair manual and i have very rough photos copies of expanded veiws of bike. i have traced wires best i can and i cant find the flasher relay on my '80 bike. anyone know were it is and how to get to it? thanks guys

i got a '80 xs400 and i need new tachometer and speedometer. i like a little newer style of gauges then stock. does anyone know a good website to look them up? do you know the ratio of the cables for the gauges? thanks guys
