Carburetor is off of a 1980 xs400. It needs to be completely cleaned and tuned to spec

So i googled these things and they do exist, they mount to your bars (usually, typically) im looking for one that can be used for my iphone with the defender series otterbox. "the riders claw" is out of the question I was wondering, have any of you guys bought one?

If and when I get my project underway is it possible for me to just take the electric button start completely off that big ugly red button is hitious and the starter sucks I personally like the kick start way better anyway

When syncing carbs is it a MUST that i take the tank off, or is it merely just for the benefit of ease and time consumption? Side note, i googled and forum searched, maybe its my adhd but i didnt find anything that specified, excuse me if im wrong i apologize in advance - John
