What's up party people. SO. I'm thinking I'm going to switch my 18" spoke front rim w/disc brake for a 19"er. Here are my questions. I assume that if the rim width is the same, it's okay to swap it, but can I use the same spokes and disc brake? Or would I have to buy new spokes.

Now, I also want to put a mini speedo and tach on it, and i think this speedo is rated for a 19'' rim. Is that right?

and the tach for good measure.

Is any of this going to lead to issues on my '76 xs360?

word.

you will have to change the front fender and get new spokes.

You need to find out if the hubs have the same dimensions as the 650 (if that's where the ads are from)

Thanks, Drewpy. I will definitely be changing my weathered old fender.

Does anyone know off hand if the xs360 and 650 hubs are interchangeable?

definitely not, the axle sizes are different

Thanks dO. That being said, you don't think the above configuration of parts would work on my bike?

I mean, If I use the existing hub, I understand the two have different axle sizes, but I don't see any problems with he speedo as long as the diameter of the hub is that of the 650. I guess if hey are a different size, the reading inaccuracy of the speedo would be negligible anyway.
