It should be possible to fit in almost any engine that won't exceed the frames space offerings but I don't see any real reason to do so. Haven't heard of anyone who has done that before so I don't believe that there are any pictures.
The XS 650 engine is a real beauty so why ride that frame with a smaler engine?
Because i have another motor 400 xs but the frame has been cut and i have paper to make a project .
I know some body who sell a 650 frame near of my house so it's more cheap for me to buy the 650 frame than repear the 400 frame.
It could theoretically be done, but would require welding, custom motor mounts, etc. In the long run, it would be cheaper and easier to repair the XS400 frame...
Yes and i think that will have a problem with the exhaust the 400 exhaust are on the front and not like the 650 and the frame is just on the front of the 400 exhaust.
So ,now i think repear the frame is the best idea.
