79 xs400 rear wheel bearings (different ID)

Hello all, I have ordered 3 sets of rear wheel bearings for my bike and they all arrived with the same problem. The rear wheel bearings all both come with a different ID and I’m afraid it’s going to be sloppy and unbalanced going down the road. Is this normal or are the kits coming with wrong bearings? I have orders from multiple suppliers all woth the same problem.

I would avoid aftermarket "kits" and buy oem stuff using the oem part numbers. Make sure your bike is a 79 and not a 80 by looking at the vin number or post some pics of the bike here. A lot of people look at the build date which is not the model year. If the bike has a 16" rear wheel it's an 80.

I got to looking at pictures of axles and bushings onlineZ is there a bushing that slides into the larger ID bearing?

I had a local machine shop make some custom bushings and spacers and they turned out awesome. Better then the original uglies...
