'81 Bobber (The Italian Stallion)

My first bike and build . I started off with a low budget cafe racer in mind but as i did more searching and looking things got out of hand ! my bike told me he wanted to be a bobber and to name him "The Italian Stallion" and so it begins ......

After tearing into this clunky looking 80's bike i did some more research . clean,clean and cleaned the carbs . With a lot of maulnipulation i got it all apart (thx bcware) and cleaned .

I took out the electric starter motor and the chain ( its a kicker only ! )

As i got into the stator cover i noticed the wireing was a little chewed up so i sniped it and started my rewiering

I will be running no front brake,horn,ele.starter(kick only),tack,speedo,neutral or oil light . so it was time to dissect the harness/loom !

I hav always hated the look of the exhaust so i hacked it off and will be just running headers for now. besides the exhaust was rusted thru . i wraped the headers today and put the first coat of paint on the tank .

so i ran out of money but had plenty of time to kill before my front wheel gets done so i made some lollipop baffels for the headers .
