Benelli tank on XS400?

I'm looking into which tanks i like and i was wondering is anyone has tried using a Benelli tank on a XS400? Just need to find out if it will fit the frame.

not without mods I think.

Peeps use an XS75-/850 tank and swap over the front mounts and do a bit of internal bashing to fit round the unusual back bone
