Where is the battery?
Also I'm not sure if this was addressed but where did you get the Allen bolts for the carbs? Was that a set or did you find them at a hardware store?

Make sure the battery has a charge rate of 14.5-15 volts or it will get fried.

Merci de partager tes photos Matt. Je viens d'acquérir un XS400 dans un état similaire, j'ai hate de pouvoir commencer à travailler dessus, ce tread me sera très utile.

Thank you Matt for sharing the pictures. I just recently acquired an XS400 in similar shape, it turns over and there is sparks, but the carbs need cleaning. I look forward to working on it and using all the info around here.

The build is looking great! You are at the exact same stage as me with the wiring. I also got a lithium battery but mines a fair bit bigger as I'm keeping electric start, I also got a combined regulator/rectifier to tidy things up. I found that under the rear tank mount was a great spot to hide my battery, it also lets you run the stock negative cable straight up against the frame rail

J'en doute pas Matt. Tout semble fonctionner jusqu'à maintenant. J'ai nettoyé les carburateurs hier et je suis prêt à les installer aujourd'hui. L'interrupteur sur la poignée de droite ne fonctionne pas donc je dois connecter les deux fils ensemble pour avoir l'allumage, je vais devoir régler ça plus tard.

Salut Matt depuis le temps , Micro ta batterie tu trouves ça où ? je suis en train de bosser sur le maître cylindre j'ai vu kit de réparation en Allemagne pas trop cher tu l'as pris où toi?
