Hey guys. New to the forum, not to seca's. Ive read through a good amount of the info on the forum, but I'm having trouble finding the what I need.
My clutch won't fully disengage and allow the wheel spin 'freely' while in gear. I've gone through the full adjustment procedure a few times, pulled both covers off, cleaned everything and re adjusted yet again. I'm only getting about 1.5mm of movement on the clutch pack side of things.
If I adjust it tight, it slips easily but fully disengages when I squeeze the lever, and if I adjust it loosely ( 1/4 turn back from snug on the motor end) I get absolutely no disengagement and cannot spin the tire at all. I've found a 'happy medium' in which it appears to be engaged when clutch lever is out, and when I squeeze it, I can just barely (really tough) Spin the rear tire.
I've already ordered a new clutch cable, in hopes that the clutch cable that is on the bike is old and stretching. Any input is appreciated!
