Drum to disk swap wort it?

Is it worth it to convert from drums to disks? just on a cost/performance parts and labor perspective. not looking for appearance thoughts just performance and how easy it is to get parts.

seems like everything these days are disk?

The duel leading shoe front brake is pretty damn good. Better than many early disk brake set-ups. If you are converting, go full modern with forks and all.

I was considering redoing the forks. I'd like to raise the stance a bit (I'm 6'4") since this is to be a scrambler design.

I know Yamaha guy was talking about switching to the xs650 forks but don't know if he did or how well they've worked if so.

I'd look into the RS125 fork swap that Wolfe has done here. They look great and have a nice big modern rotor and caliper. You could even do dual calipers on them with some work.
