XS400 Newbie
Hi all - been a while since I've been on here. Thought I was going to sell the beast but have recently moved to a place with a garage so I figure I'll have a go at tearing it down to see what's wrong.
One of my big existing problems is the field coil. All the enamel is wearing off and flaking. Further, when trying to jimmy it free to inspect it, the two leads have come detached and I have no idea how to get them back in.
Short of finding a field coil in newer condition from a salvage shoppe - or maybe from one of you fine folk - does anyone have any idea how to revive this part of the charging system?
