Fuel Petcock

It has proved near impossible to find a fuel petcock for my 81 xs400 that is in working order. Do you have any suggestions for a bolt on aftermarket one?

I have done a thread for rebuilding it. there are some inherent issues. cause of those issues, some people just get the plain petcock from Mikexs.com. My recommendation was get the kit K&L, and then use a smaller Viton oring, to press the bigger one, to the sealing surface. Sometime in the last 20 years, the petcock maker, stopped making the hollow tri-angle o-ring, and the K&L is the certified producer, but the o-ring just doesn't make a great connection. These are for the DOHC bikes. If yours is a sohc one these wont work but sohc rebuild kits can be found on ebay also.
