Hi!

I have some major problem during my engine reassembly. I've done everything with manual and yet i can't get my gear drum working properly.

I didn't dismantle gear shafts and gear drum. I just pull it out from crank case.

After refitting drum change i had problems with finding neutral gear but i think i managed it. However if anyone can confirm that this drum position is neutral it would be very helpful.

I have putted both gear shafts onto their place, and i could rotate one shaft while holding the other. So i assumed it was neutral gear. However after joining crankcase and refitting gear selector it cannot select any gear... I've ran out of ideas whats going on. I've even opened again crankcase, however it helped nothing...

Any ideas?

I'll be grateful for any advice!

Cheers!

the gears work properly only when the engine is running.

try spinning the clutch whilst changing gear and you'll find it works ok

I managed to work it out.

It turns out that i wasn't using enough force to change gear, and selector wasn't moving enough.

:)

I was scared to use force at first but it worked and i breathed a sigh of relief :)

Cheers!
