Got a XS400! Few questions...

If you have an acces to some lathe and other machines, everything is possible. But I would prefere old types of forks with axial caliper mounts. It should be easier to fit different wheels. You can put there some front wheel spacers, brake rotor spacers or caliper spacers. With radial caliper, I suppose, you are strictly limited with caliper mounts. So, if it doesn't fit directly, your the only way is a brake rotor offset.

I finally found a pair of XS360 rims. As far as i've worked out from google, they should work on the 400. But i figured i would ask here before ordering something from the other side of the earth. Will these with small modifications fit my XS400 1982 special? I have disk front and drum back.

400 and 360 share most parts. I'm sure they would fit without modification. To make sure try the search bar at the top of the forum. Use the one on the left that says google, it's better.
