Just wondering if anyone has experience ordering parts from www.mikesxs.com. I'm just starting a cafe build and it looks like they have a lot of the parts that I need. Ive got an 82 maxin DOHC which I understand the parts to be less readily available.

not the best when ordering a single part since shipping prices are a little steeep so try to order a few things at once. Always make sure you are ordering the right part for you model.

i tend to use ebay or other part suppliers who have cheaper shipping options.

Some of Mike's parts are a bit suspect, mostly rubber parts. Carb holders not made for ethanol fuels.
Cables made with too small an inner cable, break to easy.
Some parts are very good.
I have bought lots of parts from Mike's for my xs650.
A lot of the Ebay Xs650 parts come from Mike's. Sellers buy them from Mike's Mark them up and sell them on Ebay.
I bet the same thing happens to there other parts lines.

Ordered a throttle cable for my xs 400. It was similar to the original though not exact which required me to do some modification that I shouldn't have had to do.
