I wish I could rationalize this jacket

Dainese is top grade but you pay for what you get aka expensive as all hell. Oddly enough most all pics of the their gear ive ever seen has super thin models. Atm I have a Scorpion Exo jacket and then my summer armor.

Are there any leather jackets that you can comfortably wear during the summer? This is my first bike and I just ordered my first jacket 2 hours ago. I really like the leather ones but it gets really hot here in the summers! That Dainese jacket is just what I was looking for! (minus $800 lol)

I use a Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 mesh jacket and a pair of draggin' jeans (kevlar ones with kneepads) both for under 100 bucks each on ebay.. killer deals. Of course they don't look as good as that 1000 dollar jacket but its cool, comfortable, and safe... I'm not participating in a fashion show.

If it's 85+ out and you're sitting still you'll be hot no matter what you wear. Perforated leather flows a good amount of air; my suite is like this. A wicking hot weather under suite helps tremendously.

Leather will never be as cool as a mesh jacket, and a mesh jacket will not offer anywhere near the protection of leather.

In fact, some people pay good money for that...
