I ordered a set of custom cables from Motion Pro to accommodate my clip on handlebars - I needed about 7 inches taken off both sides. Cables came from California to Canada in about 8 days, and looked great!
But...
The throttle cable was too short. Not the housing, the cable that runs through it. I was a little worried about the "no refunds on custom work" policy, but I called Matt at Motion Pro, we took some measurements, and sure enough, the cable was manufactured incorrectly.
Great customer experience: he apologized, and they're sending out a new cable ASAP. They're even giving me an extra inch (and who wouldn't want an extra inch) because the 7 inches off works, but I'm worried might be a little too tight...
I'll update if they keep their promise (or not...)
