Hey guys

I just replaced the clutch on the XS400 with new friction and clutch plates... problem is the original owner must have touched it because nothing was tight and nothing looked right.. I reassmebled it the way it came out and now clutch cable is super hard to pull in and when i put it in gear the bike doesn't move. I let the clutch out and it doesn't do anything...

can some one please tell me these things
clutch spring torque specs?
how many friction plates there should be?
how many clutch plates there should be ?
what order they should be in coming off the engine?

I've been working on it since 6am and i'm about ready to toss a stick of dynamite into the engine and walk away...

before you say "adjust your cable" I'm going to tell all of you no matter how it's adjusted it will not move in gear. I can push the bike around while in gear and it's running. The clutch does nothing!

PLEASE HELP!!!
