Oil Filter

Hi need to change oil before riding this year. Can anyone tell me what oil filter to buy, and best place to get one, for a 1980 xs400. Thanks, have a great day1

I use a k&n 144 yamaha sells it as well as ebay or a auto parts store. There are also generic brands you can get for even cheaper but not sure what the part number is for those.

I always buy genuine filters, not much more expensive and the proper flow is essential. I would use K&N but they are more expensive.

I got a 8 pack of them off ebay for $20 shipped. Now I am good for a few years now

I just used my third from a 3 pack off eBay a couple of years ago....I'll be back to eBay for mine.
