An 8pound Oreck

Hey everyone. I go by 8pound or Oreck, whichever floats your boat. This is my first post after weeks of reading on here.

It is my first motorcycle, ever, but not the first machine I’ve wrenched on. I was told the style is tracker like, but I’m not well versed enough on the difference between tracker and café. I’m making this thread as a sort of log book of any work or style changes I make. I welcome any advice or ideas as I go about my work! I’m an engineering student, so expect some weird solutions to problems. For instance, I broke the headlight bucket, and to fix it I’m going to 3D print a new one that I designed.

• Petcock leak
• Bent handle bar
• Loose light control module
• Terrible seat
• Speedo jitters
• Riding skill
