Piston ring damage

Hey all. Been a minute since I've posted on here. Anyways, I'm looking for answers about some self-inflicted damage I've done to my new pistons.
It seems that while I was trying to slip on the cylinders over the pistons, I pinched one of the rings and slightly damaged the ring landing.
My question is: with a bit of delicate dressing and filing, could this piston still be used?

I would lightly file, make sure no metal can come loose, check the integrity of the pinched ring (they are very brittle)
