Shinko 244-rear tire size not found?

Hey everyone, I searched but couldn't find an answer to my question specifically, I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I've got an 81 xs400 with the mag wheels. I've seen several people say they're running shinko 244's. The front tire (3.0-18) I can find fine. However, the recommended rear size (3.5x16) I can't find, only (3.0x16).

Anyone have any advice? Is the 3.0 ok to run in the rear?

Try searching 120/90-16 It will make finding a tire easier.

I'm not sure that a 120 wide tire will fit in there. A 3.50 is about 90 wide.
A 120 is about 4.75 wide.

Stock size for the rear 16 is 120/90-16 for the 80-82 sohc xs400.

Yes, I agree. But why is such a skinny tire recommended?
Perhaps the tire place don't know what an XS400 is. Might think it's a dirt bike.
