Just thought I would up load a few pictures of the mounts/subframe I'm working for on mt XS400/Velorex Project. I'm sure you will note that the bike is a little rough. I want to be sure it is going to work out before putting much in to the bike in terms of time or money. Plus I'm more of a function over looks type anyhow.
First is the rear view of how it is attached to the original mounts for the centerstand.
This is the top front view showing the connection to the front down tube.
This shows the brackets that support the lower front of the sub-frame. These brackets attach to frame with the bolts that also are the lower front engine mounts.
This shows the upper rear mount. It replaces the upper shock mount. I drilled out the threads in the welded on nut for the original shock bolt to allow me to position the mount at the right position then tighten the fastener.
