So today, i bought an auto darkening helmet at the local pawn shop. I finally got some free time so any excuse to do some welding was good enough for me. Found a good chunk of 7/8 tubing i wanted to use for handlebars some day. I bought a pipe bender at HF for my birthday, and bolted to the concrete last week sometime. Its not the hydrolic model, but the one with the long handle and round dies. Anyways, my buddy gave me a conduit pipe bender die today. I drilled a big hole in the side of that and used that as my center die on the bender with the largest die on the handle. I can only get one size bend out of this style die, but it doesn't kink the material or dent it. I'm thinking about looking around for some solid pulleys, something beefy that wont break. But that's another time. So here are my handlebars that i mig welded together and ground smooth. Oh and my helmet just stayed dark, probably take it back and go buy the new one i really want. Hope you like these bars, don't know what to call them except comfortable.

Here's the seat pan I'm pittering with here and there.

The controls fit pretty well. I may lengthen the wiring so i can run it inside the bars but thats down the road. Why would my knees be way up there? They are higher than stock bars by about 2 inches.
